The Dissappearance of individuality

The reality of why we wear what we wear.
So my names Conor Branigan and i hope to open your eyes into the reality of why we really wear what we wear and why individuality is slowly disappearing.
So i head into the city to shop with the family and I just can't help but notice that the majority of people are wearing the same type of clothing and some amount even have pretty similar hairstyles and this makes me think, why is this? The first thing that pops into my mind is oh people must all have similar interests in their clothing and these clothes must be top of the range, out of this world superb for a large proportian of the city to be wearing the same two or three brands in the same 1 or 2 styles. But then looking deeper into the topic i realise that my first assumption is entirely wrong.
So what is the right conclusion to be made from this sight of these individuals walking around as if they are a large sports team, all in the same gear. Well the first question you have to ask yourself is, why? then after realising there is no straight forward answer you have to look deeper into the topic. I then went home and looked at what some of the most famous celebrities were wearing on the internet and guess what the majority of these celebrities were wearing identical clothing to the people i had seen today.
Then i asked myself well surely most of the people wearing this clothing were unaware that they were wearing similar clothing to the best known celebrities around the world, so why were they wearing similar clothes to them was it merely a coincidence? No is the answer. I have come to the conclusion that these people were wearing this clothing purely due to the fact that they had seen a lot of people around them wearing identical clothing and they thought to themselves, oh this must be the latest fashion as everyone else is wearing it so I too must wear it in order to fit in. This trend continues throughout the city and everybody loses their individuality and turns into a sheep just following the crowd.
The key word here is "The Latest Fashion" Now i think the statement "The Latest Fashion" is laughable. Why should there be a latest fashion? Everyone should be allowed to wear whatever they want without being judged by people who are so blinded by "The Latest Fashion" that they cannot open their minds for a second to accept that some people actually have their own fashion interests instead of following the crowd like a sheep. The reason the majority of people follow this "Latest Fashion Trend" Is not that they are all interested in the same clothes. The fact of the matter is that so many follow this latest trend because they are too intimidated to wear their own unique clothing that they are actually interested in.
